review mirror shaking from subs

So i bought a new system for my 6th gen and it pounds pretty well. Well when i have the system turned up about 1/2 to 3/4s of the way up...the mirror shakes so bad that it turns upward and i cant use it. i was just wondering if there was anyway i could secure it somehow or if there was another mirror i could purchase that could handle the shaking...cause its really annoying not being able to use it.

I had the same problem. I just dealt with it. I hardly used my rear view anyway. mostly my side mirrors. If you really want to fix it, you can always do like that guy in the October 2000 issue of Import Tuner Mag. The blue Nissan. He had a camera where the trunk key hole was and a video screen in the dash.

thats the best way if u wanna keep sumthing true to rear view. if not just screw it and use ur side mirrors thats why u got them!!!!

thanks for your replys guys! and the camera idea sounds good...i already have an indash so i could just get a rear view camera to see...thanks alot!

i know in cb's theres 2 screws in the rearview on the back side that tighten up

Yep, same thing happened to me, there are two holes on the bottom of the rearview mirror. Stick a phillips screwdriver in and tighten the screws.

well is it just the mirror. or the whole mirror assembley.

like can u adjust your mirrors with ease or is it kinda stiff still.?

try the screws if that dosn't work.

get a new mirror. its should be stiffer because new mirrors are hard to adjust.
