i recently got a sony xplod deck for my car and im having trouble figuring out where to ground it. will it work if i just strip the wire and connect it to the ground wire on the harness in the car? or will that no work...

go to any car audio store and pick up an adaptor harness...that way there's no second guessing or cutting wires...so on...all u do is attach one side to the sony deck's harness and the other to the car's harness.
