you can use them for your stereo, but it is not recommended. They will never sound like they should.

PA drivers are built for sensitivity since they need to be driven to the point where you can hear them from far away, or in a large enclosed room. They lack low end compared to specifically made car audio woofers because of the tradeoff in design.
