    gtech times

well i got my gtech from stealth audio D. thanks buddie. its pretty cool...yet the HP is still confusing me cause i dont know exactly how much my car weights.

yet the 1/4 mile was pretty accurate.

    here is each run.
    17.12 @ 84.6
    17.35 @ 83
    17.39 @ 82
    17.1@85
    17.1@84.8
    17.0@85.2
    17.0@85.1
    17.08@85.5
    17.06@85.2
16.91@89<---iono how i got that good...no tire spin
    16.1 @ 98 <-----had some fun...haha was on a hill LOLZ

each of these times were on the same area but differnt launching styles...i think i got the 16.91 by not scratching. but it was cooler weather..a small amount of humidity..i say 73 degrees. i tried differnt shifting techniques as well....

these are automatic times for my f22a4.

HP wise when i had the car weight at 4040lbs i got a range from144...147....141...174...135

not sure which HP was right.

my car stock weights 3880 i weight like 160?

the HP was trippin today...lol it read at idle 30 hp with the ac on....then it jumped to 240 HP. lolZ!

but o well i got my 1/4 time. i thnk thats really accurate for my car.

at one point the car stalled. i know thats a fuel related problem cause i havent changed my fuel filter. haha

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

eh... last i remembered... stock weight should be about 3150 for the Accord EX. if your car's at 3880... something's up.
Once upon a time I took a joyride in a Huayra...

in the back it says gross weight is 3880...i remember smong..the front was weighted at 3200.

i put it at 3200 lbs..but my hp never went over 110.

i want to call the techs monday about it...then go to the truck station to weight my car hehehehe.

110 sounds about right. The G-Tech is measuring your wheel HP, I believe, so you're not gonna get your 130 or 135 that the engine is rated at. My H22 came in at 153, but I only ran it once, and I did the opposite of you... I underestimated the weight of my car considerably, I think. I forget now exactly what I put in.

110 sounds right, you have 130 stock from the factory i believe and they say that your wheel hp is 85% of your flywheel horsepower....so 85% of 130 is 110.5

We should split the cost of one of those G Tech things. That would be sweet to have.

Eh, they're kinda cool... you just need a good, long, flat road to use it on.... and you have to be able to go illegally fast :-D
I guess you could use it on a track, but why? I'm thinking about selling mine already. I only used it once.

the g-techs won't give you accurate HP readings even if you know the mass of your car to the 1000th place. why? because the G-tech doesn't factor the drag coefficient of your car. but that means that whatever HP reading the G-tech gives you, your actual wheel HP will be more in reality.

exactly...though it can tell u at least near where u stand...mine fluxuated from nothing to 125 Hp....i dont really care about HP...i just use it for the 1/4

but i know a guy who dynod it and got near the results of the gtech...but it cant always be exact.

Right. It's not too accurate, but it's close... Plus, it's kinda cool for someone with a fairly new swap (me) to see wheel hp numbers that are higher than my old crank hp!
I still have to try the 1/4 feature. that should be a bit more accurate.
