    Problems with headunit.

I installed a new headunit in my girlfriends car (95 civic) and its not coming on at all. I checked all the wiring over and over, everything is correct and tight, checked all the fuses, they are good, tried touching the ground wire to another piece of metal, still nothing... Im stumped, I have no idea what's going on, can anyone give me some advice?

Isn't the factory Civic headunit integrated into the alarm?
It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.

          Headunit make/model?

Did you check the head-unit fuse on the rear of the unit?

Do you have the yellow (+12 constant) and red (+12 switched acc) both hooked up?

jump the ignition wire with a constant power and see if it turns on

Ya, check that... Are you sure that you have a good ground? Are you using a harness adapter or hard wiring the new H/U?
