okay heres the deal. I have an old radar detector from my old car. It worked perfect. I used it in all the cars i had and in my x g./f's car and in her moms car. Now i lost the cord to it so yeah i went out and got another detector so i can have the cord.. Anyways when i put it on my windshield this is the problem. WHen i get to about 2500 RMPS in any gear or if im constant in the rpms my detector goes off LAZER and yeah that means everything lights up. I read in the direction thing that it says my distributor could be causing interference and i need to get a new cap for it. Is it true?
