Infinity Kappa 692.5i 6x9 Speakers.. depth??

I understand that a few of our members *install* audio equipment professionally ..

I'm in the process of perhaps purchasing the Infinity Kappa 692.5i 2 way speakers,
but would like to know *for sure* before I do, if they'll have enough clearance??
I'm mounting them in some already purchased 6x9 *pods* from a 93 EX, into my 90 LX...

yeah i have them for my rears and i just cliped some of that black mess out and they fit perfect.

some kappa like the one i got before didnt fit.

the magnet hit that bar under the trunk. and the hole had to be enlarged.

Thanks guys .. i also posted this thread on another forum..

A memeber there said to go to crutchfield.com ... i did, and they have it set up
so that you can reference your vehicle as to what will work, and what wont.
The Kappa's that i like are listed as *fits* .. i suppose *any* speaker would fit..lol
i just dont want much *modification*

SteveB & 4bangin' ... which model Kappa's you guys got in *your* cars .. just outta curiosity?
I've heard these in a friends car ... and everywhere i go, people recommend them highly ...
i'm now lookin at the Infinity *Reference* 9602i ...
