What Sub to get??????

im looking for a new sub since my other setup was stolen

i just want 1 15"sub for now

with 2000Watts Max

im thinking a type r alpine sub

or the new 2006 Kicker Comp CVX15-2, which is the hardest pounding sub that kicker makes(round that is) so its basically a round solobaric sub....

or is there a better sub that i shold get?

Alpines are not SPL subs, they are more SQ. i have two 10" type R's and, to me, they hit pretty hard. not as hard as the power acoustics i had, but Sq was better.

why 1 15? why not 12's or even 10's? j/w

to the starter of this thread..are you lookin for an SQ or an SPL sub? and an alpine type-R sub wont handle 2000 watts

AND...you dont match max wattages anyways, you match RMS to RMS

yea i know the type r is 750

the kicker is 1000

i had 4 12's.....but they are gone now

so i just want a sub for under 200$ for now

until i get another car...then i will probably get another 15 or 4 more 12's.....

Its not a 15, or 2000 watts max, but just check it out and read all the shit it says. Its meant for rather small enclosures and its supposed to hit reallllly deep.
