antenna problem

well i went to the junk yard and got a new antenna and checked the wires and im geting power to everything my fuses are good and for some reason it wont go up and its pissing me off so if anyone knows what it could be thank you

could be you just got another bad antenna. the only way to find out, get a digital multi meter, or at least a test light and verify power in the back. i can remember colors off the top of my head but there should be a white for constant 12 v, a ground, and a 12 with radio on, if you have all those then you have a bad antenna

Sorry to bring up a dead thread just thought if say with junk yard parts going up in price I never did get a new antenna but I did however get a new deck and what do you know the damn thing works guess the jackass that installed my first deck didn't hook it up I dunno just thought I'd share
