Question On Subs

My neighbor is selling me 8- 10'' of these speakers brand new all in the box never opened for $220 are these subs any good??? all appreciated thanks

Not to hijack, but I have a full system (2 12"s, box, amp) for sale for $250...I dunno what your plans are, but it's all good stuff, the amp is actually the top of the line Kole Audio stereo amp. LMK.

200 for all 8 subs, i just bought 2 12'' Diamond Audio and i know the 8- 10 inch will bang 4 times as hard LMK what u think Glory.

If you can fit all 8 subs in your car and give em enough air...go for it, Power Acoustik (the company Kole is a subsidiary of) makes decent subs. And if not you could just sell them all, they're worth at least $100 a pop brand new.

actually Power acoustic is ok for banging but the quality sucks compared to others. it def bangs your arse off but the quality is off. but for the price u really can't go wrong 220 for 8 subs well the subs are not worth it if u ca't power them. thats alot of amps. 700w rmsx8 thats 5600w rms. thats like 6 top of the line rockford amps. and 6 farads worth in capacitors. and a u need a H/O alternator too. so the price u save in sub cost doesn't even come close to the cost of the other parts. plus 8 subs in the trunk is gonna be pushing it but it can easily be done with some thought. if 5 15's can fit i think 8 10's can fit. whew good luck!

yeah, for real, good luck fitting 8 10's and their massive split up box in the cb's trunk..not happening..

Yeah my mofo 12 hit hard but the sound quality wasnt good. The huge ported enclosure probably didnt help much either though.
