Rear defrost, dome light, alarm and wiper all went out...

Hey guys...Im new to the forum so any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a 91 4dr. My rear defrost, dome light, and alarm all stoped working at the same time. And my windshield wiper only works on high mode. I switched the rear defrost button but it still didnt work so i think it might be an electrical problem. Is there any way to fix it or find out where the problem is coming from? Thanx

did they just go out suddenly? after a dead battery? where you installing something? 9 out of 10 times its a fuse, and i think they may all be runnign off the same fuse. so first thing to do is check teh fuse box in drivers kick panel, if its not there dont forget the one under the hood. let us know what you find.

Check the small lights fuse under the dash board. That fuse will control the dome light and the low speed on the wipers

thanks for the replies. I checked the fuse box in drivers kick panel but that wasnt the problem. There is the fuse box under the hood? AS you guys could prob. tell im not the smartest when it comes to cars. Thanks

Check the fuse under the hood then. I know the stuff you are talking about is all on the same fuse.

Is your alarm aftermarket? If it is reset that sob, I've found that when someone has an electrical problem on a honda and they've had an aftermarket alarm installed reseting it usually fixes the problem. One case in point is my friend's '88 Acura Integra. It has some shitty alarm on it, drove it into his driveway, replaced the distributor rotor and put it back together, tried starting it and no go. It did nothing, all the lights worked and everything it was just acting like their was no power to the starter. I wouldn't trust the alarm if it has one, they're installed(most of the time) by people who know as much about your car as you do(sometimes less). The thing with alarms and stereos is that businesses don't need a license to install them, which is why stores like Best Buy do it... cause its free money!

The alarm was installed a long time ago so i dont think it would be that. Since ma wipers only work on high mode, would it be the motor or the fuse? I went to R&S Strauss but they didnt have the fuse i needed. I looked at the book they had hanging there and it said i need the "FLB 40" fuse for the rear defoger and they dont even have it in the store. So where would i be able to find it or is there another model i could use? I live in Brooklyn around sheapshead.
