At bestbuy buy the two 10 or 12 sony xplods. Comes with q logic box and 1200w amp. I have the 10s for $320 and a 4 year warrenty on the subs.

ok..you have $300..here's what i suggest:
2-Resonant Engineering RE 12's $76 ea.
thats only about $150 for the both of them..then search around ebay or something, or try to buy an amp off of a friend...
you need about 150wRMSx2 at 4 ohms to power those subs...good luck my friend

Well for sure dont go with a bandpass. I reccomend building one. A ported box will be louder, compared to a sealed box which would sound better. Ask mondojackal for more exact specs he knows a lot more than i do.Originally posted by Accord_exR

ok that setup doesnt handle a true 300 amp i had a buddy that had those and i wouldnt whip my ass with that brand nore those subs

The loudest subs for the money I've heard and researched are Power acousticks. Look up prices on ebay and also shopper.cnet.com - did the latter for my 10" fubr that was 600w rms up to 1800w and got of for $63 With shipping. A friend of mine had one 12" fubr in his trunk and the bass on his headunit with a 1000w sony amp was at -5 to -7 normally (still very loud) but to absolutely vibrate the car to heck he turned it to -3. Do some review searching. Two fubr's and I've seen many ppl constistenly get hairs away from 150 decibles. Two fubrs would run maybe 160 or so on ebay since there is a newer series. I have a best buy nearby that has two fubr's in a ported box and it is by FAR the loudest output of anything there. Very underated. subs. Just wish mine didn't get stolen.
Before that I had a cheap, and I mean CHEAP pair of legacy blue diamond 12's with a blue diamond 1000w amp. I built a SLOTTED box (Made the ports to my own custom design) and I can't tell you how loud and clear it was. With my car in the backyard the dishes in the kitchen were about to come off the wall and you could hear me about half a mile away. Headache?? apart from raising the hairs on your neck it took 3-5 mins to get a headache. Box is soooo much of what you'll get. Two guys at FedEx where I work have CHEApO setups and they are loud as heck. One guy has a 10 in his expedition with a homeabe box and you'd swear he had 2 15"s. Another guy had two audiobahn 15's and it didn't sound anywhere near as loud as this one 10. Call what you want but box is everything. Anyways a decent amp helps a lot, moreso when you tune the sound. tweek and tweek your crossover to perfection.Comment
