its prolly just the bolts/screws that hold the window to the regulator that are loose, and they are letting it get off track. I remember someone saying that it was a pretty easy fix, just a pain to get to it.

either the weather srtip around your window has came off (it sorta acts like a guide) or you have aftermarket speakers in your door which push the window off track when it goes down. Finally if your window sort of shakes and rattles on the way up and or it does not shut properly then the rubber bushings in the middle of the regulator have worn out , in which case your assed out because honda does not sell replacement bushings. try greasing the top and bottom part of your regulator maybe thats all you need.

naw its the not rubber(guide) crap i thought of that too and it does not get off the guide! the thing is that i can shake the window forward and backward. i think its the bolts on the regulator. i think the haynes manual says to put it all the way up and the tighten the screws.

I had to replace the regulator on my window one time, it hesitated a lot and it had trouble going up. It would sound really bad and it was cranking up but the window wouldn't go up. You can pick up new regulators pretty cheap on eBay. Its really easy to install too.

ok i fixed my beef. well lets put it this way my regulator is going to die i dont know how soon but yea its hella old but the problem i had, had nothing to do with it. so for you guys that you can move the window back and forth. i did not tighten the window persay but what i did was(now this came to me at 2 am last night) just lossen up the 3 bolts all the way to the left on the actual regulator. now just pull down on the regualtor tracks so the bolts go down. ( YOU CAN ADJUST WHERE THE BOLT, BOLTS UP ON THE DOOR) so with that said just tighten the bolts lower on the adjuster then what you had it before and make your the window is inside the guides, tucked in well and viola your done. just test it. if it needs more adjusting do it all over again and bolt the bolts down lower.
