The acoustic feedback system will not work since you don't have the speakers that have the mic piece to tell you how much road noise there is. Also, if the prelude came with a factory amp, you are lucked out. I'd look into getting at least something from an Accord if you are looking for correct fitment. But as far as the body sliding into your stock location, yes, it will fit in there.
that would be a bitch
i have really really nice jbl speakers that sounded nice when i had a cd player
but that got stolen and my oem tape deck makes my speakers sound like shit
cccheaaaa Accord Nation
92 accord sold, 91 accord ex-r still alive
240sx for that dorifto action comming soon
So I have this same cd player out of a 2000 lude, this won't work AT ALL in a CB? My stereo got jacked not too long ago and I have one of these layin around.
Looking at one on ebay just now....chances are it will work just fine with custom wiring or aftermarket wiring adapters.....looks like it will bolt in, chances are it has the same DIN spec screw locations and would be a direct fit using the OEM CB7 pocket under the radio....unless its a killer deal though....its just a base Honda cd player...nothing fancy and since you probably lose the acoustic feedback system anyway......could probably get a ealier year Honda CD that will plug into your harness for much less once you consider adapter and work involved.
