I used to be a proponent of rear fill...now it's 'eh'. If you think rear fill is absolutely necessary, I don't think you've heard a quality 2-speaker comp./subwoofer setup. I have a custom component set in front, and my 2 12s, and I don't think I'm gonna make any changes soon...

and this man used to like rear fill....if you still want rear fill...search for "rear fill" and click on the thread called "rear fill" that is started by mondojackal...then thoroughly read it

Well if you have a sub in the rear deck handling the low end stuff it's no problem...but I guess that's not rear fill...
