Opinions On New Setup?

i must say...^^ is the man when it comes to subs and ish, ive seen his setups before, very smart.

however...wtf 4 type Rs? are you black? do you listen to rap all day long? get a pair of 12 inch Kicker L7 solo barics or if you really want to thump 2 15 inch solo baric L7s....but i guarentee you wont be able to get an amp big enough for those for....any decent price lol unless 500 or more is decent

but my opinion, kicker amps are teh good. all of my birthsheets have rated power 50 more watts at least more than they rate

like the man has already said, he wants an SQ setup...so he wants to get enough SQ subs to boost his SPL...also, if he wants 4 12's, then more power to him, he just wants what he wants..why do you care why he wants it....why do you want that kind of wheel....why dont you go with RH C2's instead...same kinda thing...he has made his decision..dont jusmp all over him for it...and also...dont just suppose that someone is black, or oriental, or middle eastern, or hispanic, just cuz of what they listen to....and keep the racial comments to zero....you dont start race stuff here /RANT!

so are they for looks? you wouldnt buy a v8 and only use 6 cyl. would u?

just cause a sub isnt powered to its full potential doesnt mean that it wont extend down as low as he wants...again...SQ, not SPL...if it reproduces the sound accurately, which it will, even if it is slightly underpowered, then his goal is accomplished, and the extra surface area will increase the SPL, granted, not by much, but he wants SQ, not SPL....thats the bottom line...

no, its not for looks. those amps fit my budget, and will do a good job powering them, just not to their full potential.

true...i dont disagree with you, in fact...if you only deal with the better brands, then the RMS can be exceeded...i do that on my setup...each sub is getting about 425wRMS even though they are only rated at 300wRMS...its easy to do so with quality stuff to work with..i just didnt want someone to read this post, and then go feed some lightning audio subs with half agian as much power as they are supposed to have, then have them overheat and fry the VC's...thats what i am tryign to avoid...
