I used to compete in SPL for shows. I wouldn't be surprised if I had higher numbers with my single 15...

Oh and there are cars with 150000 watts... there is really no point for Daily Driving. Dynmat won't make the front stage levels equal the sub levels so I don't see how it could make it sound better... All you will be hearing is all bass nothing else.

I like Audiobahn amps but they don't seem to put out the power they claim I could be wrong though. There subs are horrible and there amps arnt that great but they are ok for the money.

If you want cheap Profile California makes some good sub amps for the money. Other than that I really like Rockford Fosgate amps.

obviously if all u can hear is the bass then the person knows crap bout car audio.....if u can hear the lyrics and even the individual instruments over the bass from about 20-30 ft distance clearly than u got a good setup.....if all u hear is bass then u did a shitty job of putting the system together......all about balance. and u do know u can control the amount of bass the subs put out right????????????

Right but 15000 watts. If this is a real 15000watts rms then there is no way in hell you can get any form of a front soundstage without having a serious amount of modification and way too many speakers up front let alone being able to hear anything again. You can't always adjust the volume. Really depends on the headunit or processing. If you can hear the instruments etc over anything from 20-30ft your ears aren't going to last long, unless you are talking with the doors open. Even with your sub level turned down to 1 on the headunit, any form of a realistc setup will be brutal in the substage and overbearing. I mean you have to have at least 10 subwoofers in that car, or some VERY VERY VERY innefficent subwoofers in that car of a lesser amount.

lol alot of show vehicles have systems that have serious power with highs that u can actualy destinguish. i am not talking all spl's. argh go to some shows and check out some of the setups, there are some that only go with spl there are others that go with design, there are some that go with the best sounding speakers, there are others that just go freaking all out. at one of the private shows i went to in manchester, there was a escalde with over 20 12" jbl subs and 30 something speakers all custom fiberglasses in with a 29in screen that fliped up, dash had at least 10 small screens, even the hood had a tv in it, there were speakers in the body panels even..... most of the vehicles there were seriously modded. all depends on what u go for. i never said audiobahn was the shit for shows, for the daily driver that doesn't go for shows and just wants something anything that was a choice. poweracoustic IMO is great for shows or w/o shows. but w/e u have your opinions and i have mine. i respect them either way.

o also, true show cars are not meant to be driven!!!!!

True sq car shows are meant to be driven. I compete with my daily driver on both sides... or have in the past. I went to finals this year. The good sounding setups had nowhere over 2000 watts in their system if even that much. Most of the spl runs had 4000 watts if even that much. Its extremely ubsurd to have that much power. IMO you have never been to a show if you think poweracoustic is great for a show because I have never seen any power acoustic at a show. Audiobahn has the smallest numbers of the companies that are there. You really need to learn who you are talking to before you try to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

lmao u need to learn to read better lol ......i didn't say power acoustic is great for shows....although there are many that do have power acoustic systems. i said it was good for those daily drivers that do sometimes to show at shows like me. i don't concentrate on audio for my car that why i stick with the cheaper of the components. what shows do u go to????? wow obviously the crappy ass shows where maybe 50 show up .the shows i have been to is where thousands if not tens of thousands of people show up...many have systems of more than 5000W and the ones that don;t have 5000W or so have incredibly good quality speakers/ subs and layouts. i'd say the majority have over 10k in there audio setup. for those going to a import wars or local shows, there may be a few that have a few grand put into the systems and the brands inlcude mtx, jbl, power acoustic to name a few, and maybe one Re or eclipse and that is in the elite class .....companies range from Re, eclipse, mtx, jbl, rockford, kicker, xtant, power acustic, i have even see a handful of sony and pioneer at the big shows. i'm not wasting my time arguing with u, bc obviously u have alittle more to learn about the car show scene!

true show cars are always trailered in lol even alot of audio show cars are trailered in bc of the intricate work of not just the audio system but exterior and whatnot.

I don't know what your budget is exactly, but I would go Zapco or JL Audio if it were me. Stay away from Audiobomb.

Actually you don't read well. I said I went to Iasca finals. Also I was saying I have never seen power acoustic at shows unless it is nopi nationals where its not really a good comparisson cause anyone and their brother can go to that. Big shows are dumb cause there are no limitations to how good or how loud you have been so they don't show much. Iasca and Meca finals or Iasca and Usac finals of the past 2 years are some of the best shows I have been to because they are restircted to the cars that can actually perform. Not the cars that can show up with a bling bling system... Go to finals and then tell me that the 5000 watt cars have good sound systems... I don't think so. Also if you have been to so many shows. Have any trophys? I have a 1st and a 3rd place trophy sitting right here on my desk.

The only show cars trailored in are the vans that way too much or the people that had to take a flight and get their car brought here. Very few on the sq and spl side are actually trailored in when it comes to finals. Most of these cars are driven to the shows. One big reason is so you can find any flaws in the setup on the sq side. On the spl side, most of those cars are done by people who don't have that much money and have pretty run down cars anyhow so they might as well just drive them to save the cash. Since it is roughly 1.5k to get your car trailored to finals from what I heard this year.

Both great companies, both out of his budget range.
