Check x-over freq and sub volume on the deck, Mine has a sub-setting when you hold down the audio selector to turn the "sum-output" on! And on my wifes older alpine you switch the rears from sub amp outputs to rear speaker amp outputs(basically full range to low frequency range) Let us know about the outcome!
