Power Ant. problem

Suddenly my power antena stopped going all the way down when the radio is shut off. It goes just about all the way down then stop 6 inches short and you hear a click click click click click like its trying to pull it the rest of the way down. Is this an easy fix? maybe the antena motor? stripped gear of some sort?

ihave the same problem but mine doesnt budge at all...it stays fully extended

try greasing it when it up and when its going down, help it go down all the way. same thing happens to mine sometimes.

i tried doing that but it wont budge...i think it might be bent somewhere and it wont go down...i hear the motor running but nothing...i even took it off, gresed it up, moved it up and down and still nothing
