is it a detachable face? try hitting reset, it is a pinhole located usually behind the face plate. use a ballpoint pen to press it and plug it back in. later.

your either missing constant, accesory or ground. best way is to get a digital mulitmeter or at least a cheap testlight ($2 from autozone for mine) and verify what you are missing. did you check all of the fuses? there is one under the hood and one down in the driver kick panel, lots of people miss one of the fuse boxes. sounds like a blown fuse to me.

I would put money on your ground wire has loosened from the body, similar thing happened to a friend of mine.

the ground in the wiring harness that plug into the player in the rear. make sure all the wires are connected to the harness and all the rca cables are pluged in correctly

not too sure the RCA cables would have anything to do with it.

gary might be on to something. Check your constant power. check your ingnition wire. That one is the most important one.

MAKE SURE ITS THE WHITE WITH YELLOW STRIPE! NOT THE YELLOW WITH WHITE STRIPE. THATS THE SPEAKER WIRE! DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

rca's would def. having nothing to do with this.

i'd tried checking ground wires and/or resetting the cd player...

I believe there is a chassis ground on the right side of the dash, towards the bottom. Or in that area on the left. I'm not sure but I know its in that general area when the shift console is removed. I think that its either your ground or you may have crossed wires in the harness.

                            power to radio

Just to make sure that you are wiring up correctly take your radio and run a hot line to the battery(fuse on the wire if possible), ground out to the car or the frame. If the pos and neg run directly to the battery your radio should turn on. Just be careful not to short out on anything.
