    fuel pump...making a relay/switch

i want to make a fuel cut off switch for my accord. anti theft is for me...i want to get it from the fuel pump (yellow wire back there)but i dont like the idea of running a wire all the way to the front where im going to hide it, and then run a wire all the way back to the fuel pump. i feel unsafe

i will be using a 30amp switch rated at 12v dc with an inline fuse but someone mentioned in another forum to use a relay instead of a switch...

can any one help me wire this up? i dont want to go wrong with this install cause its my fuel pump...i want to be safe.

maybe there is another spot, either than the fuel pump relay, that i can tap into the fuel pump?

    please help me out. thanks!
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

You already HAVE a relay set up to do that. It's the MAIN RELAY. All you need to do is disrupt the trigger power to the relay. Then it'll act like the main relay is bad.
