Hey all,
I just got a 91 EX wagon. After 14 years, the speakers aren't up to my 'high' audio standards... I was trying to figure out what size speakers I need, but I'm getting inconclusive information from my research.
Crutchfield says I have 5" fronts (door) and 6x9 rears. The factory manuals say I've got 6.5" fronts and 100mm rear (the speakers are in the headliner) and a 6x9 sub. I'm know the factory manual is correct....but what speakers do I have as options?
I figure anything will fit in the front door (up to 6.5"), although I might have to build my own mounting brackets from MDF if the speakers are too deep. The 100mm speakers in the headliner...I'm not so sure on. 100 mm is approx 4", but I'm guessing mounting depth will be an issue. And what of the 6x9 sub....will a regular full range 6x9 be OK in there?
thanks
