Personally I would go with a Profile amp... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-E9Hmjwj...30&I=489HA700M
200w RMS, matches the sub perfect since the sub is 200 rms and 400 peak. I have a profile amp, I really like it, puts out good power, and ive beaten the hell out of it for a good 6 months now, ahaha.

sounds good...so 200 watts RMS is perfect for that sub? does it really matter if the sub and amp companies dont match? what do you guys think about this amp in mono...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fOq06MO...=110&I=575201S

I personally like Rockford so I would use a Rockford amp. Here is a link to one in Crutchfield http://www.crutchfield.com/S-pKQUJfy...earch=rockford. IMO this amp is ideal if you plan on only running one sub. I have two 12" Punches with punch 100 ( bridgeable to 400 watts).

Go with as much power as you can afford; you don't wanna clip the output and ruin your speakers. I just got a 1920W (880W RMS) Kole amp...it's by the same people who make Power Acoustik. From what I hear on the car audio forums, PA>Profile, and Profile is pretty good. The best part is the amp is ~$170 on Ebay, which is hard to beat for a legit (claim matching) amp. Check them out...

just look around at different types of amps and compare how much they put out, price, bass level, and perfomance that they can give you, it does come down to how much money u want to spend and how HARD you want your subs to hit. You get what you pay for, theres different types of amp classes, you got u class A b Ab and D just look around at stuff and see what u want

And class bd, lol, as for kole and profile and such they are only good in the cost/watt category! Rockford, Jl, Alpine, etc have higher prices because they have more technology and have way more demand!!! If I were you I would look into USAcoustics, they have really good amplifiers and really good prices and there American, I ran two of these in my 92 Talon really hard and they never shut off or got hot or anything, I was impressed everytime I turned it up! Now I am all Rockford, and my Fiance is all Alpine, so whatever your budget and taste! Oh and disregard what gloryaccordy said about buy an amp with as many watts as you can afford, the sub can handle 200w rms, it will handle more power with cleaner music, ie; bass not all the way up, gains on amp set right, not listening to test tones etc. I have a friend who bought my talon off of me and he has 300w to the RF12"p2 which is rated similar to youre 10" and has been running it (clean) for a long time now no problems! Some amps claim to double their power into 2 ohms, so if you were to buy an amp as such with a 4 ohm rating of 200w rms, you could then get another sub in time and hook it up, without having to get another amp! Everybody has there own personal favorite but I do like to keep my subs the same company, amps the same company etc. Companys build their product to work with their other products, for example kenwood has their excellon db series which uses a servo wire for the amp to moniter the subs phase, power in case its not right it will automatically adjust internally so the sub is always working a top! http://www.crutchfield.com/S-H2DPtN6...110&I=575T3002 This one I really like!
My setup!

I would recommend you stay away from the profile trash amp pictured above. Yes its cheap but cheaply built as well. If you have the money, get a Polk, JL Audio, alpine, Rockford, some MTX, or a Kicker, even some Hifonics.
Audiobahn is ok if your into bling, but if your thinking about going serious with your car audio later Audiobahn isnt where you want to go.
