my cd player is wired up exactly as the install doctor said... but for some reason it doesn't have power... it did the first time but only two speakers worked on the driver side.... what is the color of the power wire... theres like two and i'm wondering if i got them mixed up when i re-did the wiring...

You didn't cut the OEM radio harness plug off, did you? If so, put that bad boy back on and buy the adapter from a stereo shop. It'll make things much easier for you!

constant is white with yellow, goes to yellow on radio harness.
accesory (power with key) is yellow with red, goes to red.FA1

if ur not getting power, u can check the accesory wire by jumping it to the 12v constant wire, if it turns on then you know u got a fuked accesory wire.
so go to the fuse box and find a radio fuse, there is one inside the car and a backup one in the engine bay.
it should work after that.What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

eh... it worked for a day... then it turned on and wouldn't make any noise.... fudge it... i'm just gonna get another cd player... this "qwestar" bs sucks ass...
