"POP" sound....

I wasnt sure in which forum to post this, here or Audio, but I figured I'd start here, and if someone wants/needs to move it, that's fine.

I've had this problem since I got this car from my step-bro, but when I have the stereo on or cd playin, and then I turn the fan on full blast, I get a pop in the front right speaker. It's odd. Ive never had a problem like this before? Is something getting grounded out or is there something wrong with my fan unit or switch?

If anyone can help, that would be great.

check and make sure your speaker isnt blown

I know the speaker isnt blown. Sounds is real nice out of it. Doors are Infinity 2 or 3 ways.

Any other ideas?

Check wiring. And if possible run new wire from the deck to the speaker.

i had this problem with my other car...my audio guy told me that to much power is running...so it creates that popping sound....and if u bought ur stuff used that guy prolly had that problem and the stuff got acustom to it so it always does that...

hmm...thanks for the input guys. I may or may not worry about it. Im looking for a rolling chasis for a possible switch to a sedan, so I prolly wont worry about it.
