    alarm installation

i bought a python 1500 esp a while ago but never had the chance to install it.

now i know that most places wont install it without purchasing it from them, but what should be a reasonable installation price?

hopefully ill find a place willing to install it

thats a remote start isnt it? hope you have an automatic or else you probably wont find a shop thatll do it. anyway if it is auto expect to pay at least $100. i wouldnt recomend trying a remote start if this is your first alarm, it is fairly involved, but then again hondas are one of the easiest car to do an alarm on. good luck http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...955&type=Alarm

true! try most any dealer that sells Viper or python or any DEI brand alarms. They should have no problem installing it for you if it's brand new and everything is there. Only real problem I see if them not being able to offer a full warranty since the alarm was not puchased from them. Hondas are very easy to work on, I put in a basic alarm with keyless on mine just for the keyless basically. The only thing difficult about these cars is space, they dont have much room up under the dash as some of the newer cars.

usually id get it installed from a store, they offer warrenty on the install so if anything goes wrong then they will fix it at no charge.

here they charge 100-130 for an alarm install.

accords are pretty easy to do, especially remote start where there is a few extra wires like the tach, brake switch and hood pin but thats it.

really all u need to find is the

            parking lights
            ignition
            constant
            starter
            door locks

they are easy if you know where to look.

i work at circuit city =)

its nice to have a test light, i use a snap on one.

as for newer cars not having room, its ok...hahah i shove it somewhere anyways, zip tie it to something nice. the accords though have room NO PROBLEM.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
