It it possible to convert our 1 DIN systems to 2 DIN systems?

I just bought the 2 DIN Sony XPS-N1BT radio. There are two 2 DIN converter kits on eBay but I'd like to know whether it's possible or not before I buy the kit. If not, I'll just keep the radio for my next car.

Yes, they do exactly what they say they will. They're usually not as secure as the factory metal bracket is, but it will get the job done.

Well, considering previous owner messed up the factory bracket, it can only get better, lol. Thanks!
