all i did was pull off the volume nob and pull on the metal peg with some pliers. worked really well and it slid out with the pocket under the deck.

You can get to those screws under the ash tray much eaiser by removing the center console. yeah it's a little more work but it makes the job much eaiser

ok i got the ashtray bracket out.. i tried pullin it out.. and it wouldn't.. i'm like wtf. then looked around and notice... theres 2 wires... red and black.. assuming its for cig lighter.. but whatever...

i looked up and saw the 2 gold bolts... i was happy.. but i used my 90 degree screwdriver aka offset screwdriver(to remove the ashtray cuz it was angled at a position.) so yea i need help removing the 2 gold bolts.. i tried using my screwdriver.. but it doesn't feel like it has a phillips slot... i tried using an adjustable wrench.. but that didn't do because the bolt is in the middle of this 2 tabs.. i don't think a socket would fit on it.. anyone can help me out?

hmm... I'm no help. I've always pulled them out by getting at the screws from behind the dash. Good light, a ratcheting wrench, a long extension and a 8mm wobble or flex socket works great for me. It's kind of pain though, especially is you haven't done it before. if you can't figure it out, maybe make friends with an installer and offer him lunch or something, i'm sure he'll pull it out for you. after that installing the new radio is cake with a harness adn kit.

Remove the center console, easy to do.

There is a metal bracket at the back of the radio about three inches long that bolts to a plastic frame on the dash. There are three screws there. The center one needs to be removed. The two outside ones just need to be loosened, you can then lever the radio out of the dash. Slides right out as a unit.
