    bad radio and speedo

So ONLY when my car is in the "on" position i get bad radio reception, if its just in the accessory mode it comes in perfectly clear. Its the same if car is running or not in the "on" position.

Also my speedometer isn't working correctly, I've replaced VSS and cluster swapped. I'm guessing this is a bad ground, I'm just unsure as to where to look? When I first start the car it reads 0mph, as soon as I start moving it goes up to about 30-35 very quickly, even though I'm doing much slower, after that the gauge gains very slowly.
All other gauges work fine, cruise works. Odo works.
    Any idea's?
    thanks

So I have fixed my speedo, but still getting bad radio reception only when in the on key position. I bought a multi-meter yesterday so I can test the grounding and power to make sure that's not an issue, if it changes from accessory and on then it would most likely be ignition switch. Wondering if anyone else has any ideas while I have it apart again?

What kind of head unit do you have? Maybe your antenna wire is by a wire that is only switched on by the ignition, and its causing a feedback.

Either that, or a bad ground, or do you have an amp in your car? Your RCA's could be close a power wire and cause feedback.

the weird thing i dont get is that its worse reception when the car is in the "on" position. i did squeeze the ground strap down a bit when i had it out and that seemed to help a little bit.
