Radio only turns on when wiggling the fuse

Hey guys, need some help on my CE1. (I figured I post here because its basically the same car and CD5tuner wont let me register.)

So my radio would turn on then off at random times. It would be on util I turned on the AC or close the door. Or it wouldn't turn on at all. So I took the dash apart hoping to look for some half assed wiring, didnt find a thing. Went to the fuse box and replaced the fuse and it worked! But it eventually went out again. So I tried wiggling/shacking the fuse a little and the radio turned on! But it would go back to the on/off stage the next day. And since the fuse is for the radio and he cigarette lighter it would also go out with the radio.

So I was wondering if you guys know the solution/problem to this?

Well if wiggling the fuse make it come back on, the contacts are either loose or oxidized. Bend the contacts tighter and scrape them a bit to clean them up.

I had this same problem recently. I discovered the fuses were replaced, with really cheap replacements. Everything was clean but the blades were really thin. I bent the blades a bit to help them hold, worked for a week or two. I bought a new fuse and havent had a problem.
