So for some reason in my 91 accord lx it seems I have to have the back seat down to hear my sub. And it pounds good enough to not be annoying loud. So its not that I have a quiet sub or anything. But as soon as I put my back seat up I can barely hear it. Is this normal. I know there will be some sound deadening but I didn't think it would be to this degree. Any ideas on how I can solve this issue without rolling around like a goon with my back seat down? Do I just need a louder sub?

I don`t think you should have any problems hearing your system seat up or down.

When my head unit is at 40% i can feel my hair bounce from the bass. Something else is wrong. Either the gain isn't turned up enough or he wires the bass into the same channel as the speakers and he has no good eq'ing for the sub.It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.
