    Factory honda replacement radios?

how long did honda use the same pin setup... i have a 91 accord ex, just wondering if a newer factory radio will plug in and work properly...say a 98-02 accord double din with the built in 6cd changer... or others? whats the cutof year when they changed the pin style?

1997 was the last year, I'm nearly positive. That's at least what Metra kits are labeled as going up to.

      It depends on the car

But a 98-02 accord radio will not plug in the plug is different

A 94-01 integra I believe is still the same until 01 though

You can always cut the harness pigtail that belongs to the newer stereo and wire it in. Do not attempt unless you are willing to do it correctly though, I mean no twisted and taped wires. Soldered and heat shrinked only.

i put a 6th gen cd/tape radio in my car. just took the radio plug from it and got an adapter and wired it to fit in a cb. worked perfect.

Yup, 94-01 teg is a direct fit, those are a great option. 97-01 Prelude is basically the same thing only it lights up amber, not sure if those share the same plug style though.
