how long did honda use the same pin setup... i have a 91 accord ex, just wondering if a newer factory radio will plug in and work properly...say a 98-02 accord double din with the built in 6cd changer... or others? whats the cutof year when they changed the pin style?

1997 was the last year, I'm nearly positive. That's at least what Metra kits are labeled as going up to.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

You can always cut the harness pigtail that belongs to the newer stereo and wire it in. Do not attempt unless you are willing to do it correctly though, I mean no twisted and taped wires. Soldered and heat shrinked only.1993 SE Coupe MRT - 1992 LX Sedan MRT
