DO NOT get a legacy amp, they're cheap and will prolly ruin your subs. You'll crank it one day and blow the amp and the subs.

alright here are some good tips:
*Make sure you hook the remote wire to your amp (blue wire), should be another blue wire in the back of your headunit, that makes sure the amp goes off when the stereo goes off.
*Make sure you ground everything. ground the ground wire to your trunk, i just grounded the wire under the carpet to the body, and it looks and works fine. *used screw to screw into metal of trunk*
*Do NOT mix and match subs, because thats just asking for a problem later, with either blowing them or not matching the adequete power.
*Get an AMP that is well-known or is rated rms for your subs. peak power almost means nothing, because you WILL NEVER get the peak, and most likely a little under the rms rating.
*Make sure you dont kill your alternator or battery when running alll this stereo stuff. make sure that if you're gonna start running 1,000watt to 2000 watt that you buy a deep cycle battery (optima redtop or yellowtop).
*I would also use the dual coil setup if you have it for your subs, because you can get more power. just relay the coils together.

i hope this stufff helps you and if you need anymore helps just hit me up on aim, benvt04

ya i never heard of the amp before either i cant even find any information for it either 8(

*i adjusted the settings on the headunit and i played with the amp, and it sounds great... i didnt expect the loudest system but the one i have meets my requirements its sounds really good

i have a couple questions though.
                1. alternator supplys power to the battery or does it supply power to the whole car when its running (i think it does both, but im not sure.)

                2. are there any warning signs to look for if my amp, headunit or speakers are gonna blow???

                3. as you remember i bought component speakers for my rear deck when i bought my box, the problem is they put out to much bass if i put up the bass on the headunit (for the subs) and they sound like crap, is there anyway i can get only a tweeter out of my rear deck speakers?

                4. where is the firewall??? right now im doing something really dangerous.. puting the battery cable through the door hole and to the fender then to the battery (i know its stupid, i dont drive my car around with it hooked up though.) someone please send me a picture of the firewall and how i can get my battery cable to the battery through the firewall

thanks guys you are appreciated greatly

*i would just make sure that you dont distort the music. even you start to hear bad distortion that you know its time to turn it lower...at least thats how i rate how i volume my music

*hole is on the rightside of the car on the firewall...look under the carpet towards the front and you should see a little plastic plug about a half inch in diamater and push that out and thats a perfect whole for wires to come through....i then used cocking to seal it. and then wire the wires through the plastic door panels...i reccommend using a coat hanger for pushing wires through

*what kind of wiring do you have?

for more in depth info contact me on aim: benvt04.

I am installing a system on a jeep cherokee today.
