Remote car start may harm starter?

I have heard of auto starts in manuals with some sort of nuetral safety switch (like 3 days ago) Soo i was just curious to see if anyone had one

For auto start to work it requires the neutral safety switch this is wired to a toggle that you can turn on or off the auto start.... the engine shuts off when the brake is pressed or the car moves into gear without the key in acc or II from what I know some if not all will not allow the starter to crank when the engine is running just what I understand
