    rewiring the whole car

    i've got a 93 lx, and the audio system is shot. i dont care about your opinions on monster cable, i use it for everything i do and it is amazing stuff. i am rewiring the whole car and i was wondering just what i have to do to do that or do i gotta take it into bestbuy or something.

      I just did a little rewireing with some monster cable. see attached.
      *edit*First pic is a pic of the wire on the headunit side. it's connected to the aftermarket wire harness and NOT to the oem wire harness.
      secound pic is of corse the rear speaker. You can also see the orig wire in this pic.

        I should also add that with this mod the speakers are clearer and the bass is tighter. with a couple hours of your time you can do this too

          all depepnds on what exactly you are rewiring and waht your are changing..

            If your running your interior speakers off an amp, then you just run the monster cable wires from the amp to the speakers right?

              If you are rewiring just the speakers.. it should be a very easy job to just do yourself. You could follow the stock wires(one pos, and one neg for each speaker).. Make sure you label them as you go. If you plan on running an amp, I would still suggest following stock routing, and then just hooking up the amp afterwards.

              Although, you could wire obviosly, to the amp, then the output wires straight to speakers, but if you ever wanted to not run an amp, you would have to take all the wire out, and reconnect the stock stuff.
