install ?'s for a AC unit!

I Got this out of a Infinity J30

Has anyone attemped this kinda install? (other than lucifer1)
If so whats the best way to wire it?
If I can get it to work I will do a DIY right up!

You aren't putting that ugly thing in a cb7

This is the cb7 one, and no no one has installed it. I will be installed one very soon but until then there is no information on it. You are basically completely in the dark since the wiring diagrams are none existent.

Actually a guy named project did it but he didn't write down or share any information on it

Do you have the pinouts for that radio?
It's digital so you'll probably need a stepper motor or similar for fan speed and temp control.
You will need various sensors...you should follow the cb7 digital climate control diy as it may be close to what you're trying to accomplish.

There isn't a cb7 digital climate control DIY thats why no one has one.

Hooking up the infiniti one will be a challenge but possible. You use all the infiniti sensors as well as the what it needs for the blower. The fresh/recirc and a/c should be easy. As for the mode selector will be the most difficult to do because it will most likely need have different feedback than the accord if it even works in the same manner. As for hot/cool air mix you most likely will have to use the infiniti motor and adapt it.

I would say save yourself the grief and use the accord dcc. If you don't want the cb7 one, try another Honda one like gen5 accord or 1st gen cl. You just need one that will work with your mode control motor.

I have, it is not too difficult. I just have to add the air mix motor and couple little sensors if it ever comes back from paint. Blower and mode control are hooked up and running.



I even can control it from my steering wheel

Lucifer, do you know if the connector that goes to the DCC is available else where on a US Honda or Acura? I know it's not on the '97-'99 CL DCC.

No, I don't. Since it is made by Denso, you may be able to find them in a Toyota

All the ones that have to do with the a/c and heater climate control. It will vary depending on which climate control is used. Not to sound harsh, but if you have to ask then you are not quite ready to do this and you shouldn't being buying parts yet. You need to look at some service manuals and familiarize yourself with how the system works.

Climate control is not that difficult but is has a lot of components and wiring. Since there is not a cb7 wiring diagram, most are unwilling to put in the research time. I easily have 10+ hours in research and probably 15+ at junkyards obtaining/comparing parts. Then there is the actual installing and testing, another 30+ hours. Even with a complete DIY, I doubt one handful of people will ever complete this.

He can control it through his own switches. He said that he wanted to add the functionality of steering wheel controls.
