ive just bought mine and installed it i found a complete kit from autoloc on ebay for like 160 for 2 doors poppers and keyless entrie, but you'll want to go with autoloc there the best company for door poppers imo.

What would you rate the difficulty for installing them? Can I use them with my existing alarm?

if you can read instructions involving wireing its not hard at all, plus autoloc gives very detailed instructions, you should be able to use it with your exsisting alarm but youll have to read up on what your alarm kit says.

but once you get it if you need any help all jus pm me or rebels he helped me when i first got mine, and also youll want to look for the 35lb kits.

I usually pay about $40-$50 per Autoloc solenoid when I need them. I get them through the shop, so yeah I get a discount but Autoloc will never die on you. I've gone through many sets of solenoids in my passenger and rear doors to just test kits out and they all suck except Autoloc.

You need NO more than a 30 lb solenoid, hell, my 11lb solenoids opened them just fine. Autoloc are self grounding so you don't have to do very much wiring. Just the power wire coming from the computer unit. It's very simple to wire up a shaved handle kit, for you're just running 1 wire into the door and adding the spring at the bottom of the door.

The spring isn't NEEDED, but it pushes the door open about 2 - 3" depending on the pressure setting of it.

If you have any more questions, just ask and I know I can help you out.

It depends if you can tie other things in to your alarm unit you have.. if not you can pick up a keyless entry remote system thing off ebay for cheap and just wire the door poppers in to that.

I'm not sure how much I can get the Autoloc solenoids for right now, but I know they are selling on ebay or at their website. It's not really smart to get used ones coz you don't know if the magnet inside is good or bad.. and how long it'll last. It's better to just get new ones since Autoloc has a customer warranty system.

I still use my handles to open the door from the inside, but I also have buttons in the plug things in the middle console to open the doors. We wired those just in case the handle for some reason breaks.

So I can use the interior handle, the interior button, or the remote on my keychain.
