wiring question

wasnt sure where to put this...

anyways, i was gonna buy something like a neon light, but not neon, i want red...maybe some small red led's...but where to i wire them into without the wires being visible...i'm gonna put the lights under the dash. my cig lighter came out and i have a hot and ground...can i splice into that? or is it not enough power?

yeah dude thats waht i did. i ran a wire and hooked it into the back of the cig lighter. works perfect. but i wired up a switch to turn it on and off.

what kind of lights did you use? do you have a code? i was thinking led's...but then i also saw this wire stuff, its a light in a wire that i can shape to whatever i want...also what did you pay...?

yeah i had 2 8 inch neons and i wired it to my cigg lighter too!

yeah i used a 10" neon and wired it up to a switch. so i cant help ya with the LEDs.

I had 4 red neons under dash and back seats. Wired from battery, fused and had a switch I actually stuck in the Cig lighter hole. Also I am using red leds throughout car, behind climate control, instrument cluster, behind cig lighter,etc...
What exactly are you trying to do or want it to look like?
