its not there any more but i ran it there for 3 weeks and i pulled the seat up every 2 days and nothing happened to it at all

Being an amp that small, he should have no problems unless he's running it hard for hours on end. I've had laundry bags on my amps for about 4 hours and they have never gotten too hot to touch.
it is a a/b class amp but it was always cold to touch

it actually is alot surprizingly and its such a small amp i never had a problem with it

It would be very impressive if you mounted the amps under the rear seat with a steel support over it, that way it wouldn't be crushed, and also ran (some how) ducting in and out of the seat with a fan for cooling. Your still looking at some modification to get all that in and working right. The simple truth is that amps like large spaces for cooling and once the installation location becomes more confined, cooling will become more and more of an issue.

I'm interested in seeing what you ultimately go for.

To do that you would have to gut basically all the padding from the seat. Have you even ever taken the backseat out before?

tuck it in the trunk to the left side and you should be all set. My ideal location would be where the ABS computer is mounted if you delete the ABS system in the car.

Sucks that it's all preformed plastic from the factory and theres no real way to mount it properly unless it's on a box or on the floor of the trunk.

i havent decided yet. but when i rebuild id like a shadow box in the trunk to go with the either single 15 ported forward firing or 2 12s ported forward firing.
i also have sketched plans for a 18 in the trunk ported thu the rear deck

Why firing forward? Firing backward usually works better.

louder on the meter. and less rattles. but you have to seal it off from the trunk like 0 air movement in the trunk or it wont work.

IB?? That's the only way I see front firing really working.

Actually not always louder on the meter either... If you completely fill the trunk up with polyfill so there's no air (therefore no air movement) it might work...
