    A/B class vs. D-class?

I have a 900W A/B class Alpine amp, and while it hits hard, my friend has a Hifonics 1500W amp he's getting rid of, and I was wondering if it would be better to go with the Hifonics amp. I personally like the Hifonics amp, and I think it makes cleaner power...the Alpine has bandpass control though.

Also, what do you guys think of sealed boxes vs. ported boxes? I have a sealed box now, and it hits hard and has a nice linear response, but my friends all have ported boxes, and they have that deep, tuned, loose sound. What do you guys think?

I say get the hifonics, sell yr alpine and get a 2 or 4 channel for yr doors. Sealed usually sounds cleaner (tighter) but needs more power to get loud like ported. I like 2 sealed 12's for the cb7. What kind of music do you listen to most?
