    Question about Blaupunkt subs

Hey I am looking in to putting a custom build box out of fiberglass in the wife's car and I was looking at the Blaupunkt TSW 1200 they are the translucent ones. Does anyone have them if so how do they sound and what kind of amp/how many watts are you pushing them with? Any help would be great thanks

Also I'm looking for good sound without spending an arm and a leg, I know that you get what you pay for but just need to be steered in the right direction thanks

i have them. they look awesome, but they dont have very good sound. its kinda like sacrificing sound for looks. they arent bad tho.

                alpine or infinity

if you want decent without arm and leg then go with infinity or alpine. hell crutchfield i knew had the alpine type e ( base model but decent quality) for 2 for 89.99 last month. slap then in a bandpass for best punch, and use a profile amp..they dont draw much current and are cheap but give good power. just remember to go with rms number and not peak power, or youll be blowing speakers like crazy.

i have two profile amps(75wattrmsx4) infinity kappas in bandpass that one amp is bridged to 2 channels so each get 225 rms. i have the other 100 watt amp(75watts rmsx4) powering my 4 component speakers. the head unit is a pioneer unit deh-7600mp. sounds good. i have a 140amp alternator to help with power.
