Radio works on Constant (Yellow) But no power when on Red

I have had my radio wired up one of two ways recently and I am not getting any power when I place the red wire from the radio itself, no power the the car is on the "ON" position. But it works just fine when I have it on the constant wire (yellow), but when I do that I keep popping the small lights fuse. Please help TIA
