Will it work to run a wire directly from the battery to the remote-in on the amp, with an on/off toggle wired inline?
Sorry for the late reply. I thought other audio guys may have answered you. Yes, you can run the system that way. I had mine all hooked up, my old deck fried, ran 12v constant from battery to an in line switch and remote turn on wire from amp to other side of switch, then I wired the rca channels together, left side and right side, with an rca y for each channel, then to a 3.5mm jack to my mp3 player. No problems whatso ever. Hope that helps.
