    completley confused

    i have a pioneer premier h/u and have had it for a while lil under a yr. but all of a sudden today it wont turn on i checked the wiring harness un wired and rewired it and then hooked it back up.....still nothing.....i take my h/u to a audio place they hook it up to one of there soundboards and it plays.....i take it back to the car put it back in but b4 i did this i checked my fuses under the hood.....the back up radio fuse was blown so i replaced it and still its not working.....ne sugestions?

    sounds like you fried your wiring. Easiest way to find out is to find a friend that has a honda that uses the same wiring harness as you and put it in their car. If everything works then it means you fried the oem harness. Meaning you would have to run a new fused power wire from the battery to your radio and then a new ignition wire.

      I would check to make sure you didn't blow those same fuses again. If they are blown, you are grounding out somewhere.

        i had a pioneer once, quit working after 4 solid years, threw it out the window

        it was doing the same thing yours is doing

          come to think of it my pioneer headunit did the same thing. But it was my wiring that shorted out. I had to run new wiring and now the pioneer is in my brothers car.

            mine was doing that and i had to rewire my ground wire and everything works
