Audiovox or Code Alarms are pretty decent as well. I have an older Audiovox on my car and I love it. As far as instillation, I would definately look for someone experienced, and even a reputable shop at that. If you pay a buddy to do it, if something goes wrong then he's not going to fix it. A shop would be obligated to fix it. Just keep that in mind.Honda-Tech Username: Lostcb7

you get what you pay for... but if you are going to pay more on the install or the alarm itself.. pay more for the install. A top of the line alarm will do no good if put in by an inexperienced person or someone who just wants to get it done quick.
Things you prolly would want to put on after would include an extra siren or two, and also battery backup hidden somewhere so that if they pull the battery cable, it wont stop going off.
I would stick with a DEI alarm.. they make python, viper, and clifford alarms (i think clifford, might be wrong, but clifford are good).

You might also want to look into getting a glass sensor.
From what I understan it uses a microphone that is integrated into yr main system and it triggers the siren when it picks up a frequency that sounds like glass breaking. They only cost about $30 and IMO is worth it for our cars.
I had a clarion ungo POS system in and some fools just broke the quarter window to steal stuff out of my back seat. Alarm never went off.
