    Pioneer 3300 smell

For some reason my Pioneer 3300 head unit, shorted and then started to smell. Now it would play anymore. I didn't think this could happen, but it did.
What do you think. What suggestions would you give when I reinstall another headunit.
    thanks

    was it new or used?

did u attach the ground before you attached the power wires?

did you hook it up right with a wire harness?
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!
