hmm I was thinking if they had a key to my car they woulda never broke my quarter window... so maybe they dont have a key to my car but they did get my back seat down...... Anyway are the car alarms at circut city any good? I dont know what one it is but it is with installation 150$ so it is one of the cheaper ones on this page http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/categ...8+20013097&c=1

But people where I live are professional thiefs like they wont cut my alarm or try to disarm it, it isnt that serious, tye will just break a window and get in your car so is the cheapest one any good? I just need it to go off when they open my door of my car.

Don't get a cheap alarm. Make sure the alarm has pin switches under the hood or the thieves will pop your hood and disconnect your siren. Bolt your amps down under the seats, and bolt your sub enclosure down in your trunk. Also DON'T EVER leave your car at a shop unattended. They WILL make a key, and it's very easy to code a remote for your alarm if they have five minutes alone with your car.
