    Drawing too much voltage?

I still have my Punch P3001, but no more JL w3..
    Now, i have a Walmart Pioneer 12''.
My lights dim severely. I had a capacitor with the w3, but it went for my rims.. The pioneer doesnt beat at all, it plays, but when i turn it up, it kinda just bumps a little..
Could it be possible that my amp got used to my capicitor?

More than likely i'd say it's just the difference in subs as far as the sound but not with the dimming of your lights. Other people may disagree but JL is one of the best subs made. What size cap were you running?

          this one

but, i've had cheap shit before, and never had this problem..
Im sure some people bump pretty good with this setup...
I cant really get it to beat because it cuts out when the bass hits.

Check your grounds with a DMM. You may want bigger wire or a better alternator. Maybe its time to upgrade your battery, capacitors tend to not do much, it's like putting a band-aid on a shotgun wound.

check your engine grounds also .... might want to think about upgrading the big 3. I have solved many dimming lights problems (including my own) by simply doing this ...

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.
