I'm installing a (SCYTEK) Galaxy 5000RS-M module for a manual transmission in a 1993 Acura Integra.
I have most of it done but i was reading that for the remote starter feature to function i need a push button installed because there is a "process" that needs to be done before exiting the vehicle so that you can remote start the vehicle.
THE PROCESS:
- With the engine running i must be sure the vehicle is in the Neutral setting before continuing, then apply the E-Brake, push the remote starter button on the transmitter[remote], parking lights will flash twice after that is completed, turn off the ignition (motor should continue to run), push the Grounded push button button (siren will then chirp), open the door, step out of the vehicle, close the door and engine will shut down.
So after this process the vehicle will be ready to be remote started the next morning or what have you.
As for my question, How should i wire this "Push button." They have some in Auto Zone that has two terminals at the end. Should one side have a spade terminal connected to it and them grounded, with the BLUE wire (Turbo Timer Cancel Input) coming out of the alarm brain on the other terminal!? or how would you go about doing this?
NOTE: Any input will be greatly appreciated
